The Trackless Trail

I hope all of the new residents to our area are aware that the Underground Railroad flourished around here in the 19th century. Mary L. Dugan of Marlboro Village, a local historian and retired Unionville English teacher, was one of the founders of the Kennett Underground Railroad Center, which runs tours to various local sites where slaves on the run from the South were given shelter by brave abolitionists.
